I went straight to the University of Minnesota for a year and a half before deciding to return to northern California where I obtained my BSN at Cal Poly Humboldt, Arcata CA.&nbsp; I worked as a home health nurse and a jail nurse before finding a great position as an oncology and research nurse at the San Francisco Veterans Medical Center.  Later I moved to France for 12 years where I taught in several large Universities and obtained a Masters in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/education\/best-global-universities\/public-environmental-occupational-health\">https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/education\/best-global-universities\/public-environmental-occupational-health<\/a>).&nbsp; I also got married and we had 3 beautiful daughters.  In 2013 I returned to the area to help with my mother who had advancing dementia.&nbsp; My wife, 3 daughters and I&nbsp; live in the Glenlake area since 2013. &nbsp; For the last 10+ yrs I have worked at HCMC in ambulatory clinics, Hospice and Care Coordination.
