They say in today’s world every artist or author, content creator in today’s lingo, needs an avatar of their target consumer. Personally I find this rather fake. Did Van Gough have a avatar? If he did it was maybe a sunflower, but I doubt it, he painted what he felt, what he needed to let out, what needed to be born into the world. He died poor, we are enriched thanks to his work. Already I am not as poor as he was, may things continue as such, but whether or not I leave anything of value other than my children or a couple vases remains to be seen
But this is about you. I imagine you are a bit curious about the meaning of life and a bit hungry for something other than the standard menu on TV, and Social media (for lack of better terms). If that’s not you, you have probably already left, or never arrived. This of course puts my sanity into question, why would anyone write to people who will never read it. I am a bit embarrassed to admit that I am probably most comfortable when my sanity is a little bit in question. Many of today’s models of sanity seem so questionable themselves, others and our systems….be one of these
